A small triangle formed by her fingers and thumb are the apex of a larger triangle that runs from her forearm to her middle finger. The shadow under her right eye pulls us up from there to her left eye and down to the dark vertical formed by her chemise and back up to the wine glass.
Great aggressive framing. We have to deal with this woman.
The lovely shape of the bottom of the wine glass is echoed in the 90 degree (clockwise) shape of her breast the finish of which - though unseen - is suggested by the nearby pearls. All this barely keeps up with that powerful gaze which has managed to escape the frame and come out to us in a north-to-southeast diagonal. And that look. 2,000 year old eyes, in a 20 year old face. A look that has been driving men mad since Helen of Troy.
