Since you continue to view it, then it appears to serve it's purpose quite adequately, doesn't it. My vocation is neither to give people images they can examine in anatomical detail, like the schoolboys do, or to allow them to be reproduced elsewhere in a meaningful manner. I would imagine that any adult artist understands that, in fact I would say that 99% per cent of the viewers do, since this is only the second time that I have received this comment in the last four years.
First, let me apologies for giving any negative feedback at all. I must have been in a bad mood. After all, it does seem unfriendly to complain about free art, especially good free art... But let me just put forward the idea that larger format art is better. Perhaps art that is bigger than your monitor could be viewed as "schoolboy anatomical" as you suggest, but I do find that I enjoy art in larger format quite a bit more than in a small format, especially in landscapes, but also in portraits. It gives the feeling of being there, something that a 1920x1080 can accomplish but a 640x480 really doesn't accomplish at all. I suspect that while none of your fans complain, they would greatly welcome your photos in a larger size. But you are very popular as you are, so who am I am say? Regards, Carl
There is nothing wrong with negative critique when it is constructive. I also prefer viewing art in larger format. >However, I enjoy my work much less been copied and reproduced all over the net, sometimes with an other author's name under it.
