Wonderful picture as usual...gorgeous model, also as usual...her face is telling me that either she's mad at someone or you just cracked an incredibly bad pun...those looks are very similar I've noticed. Either way, very expressive (which seems to come naturally to this lady) and beautifully shot.
comparing 1625 with 1626 i can say this one makes your model look deformed ... I'm an amateur and I don't have any experience on people & portraits, but this is my personal opinion! you are a very talented artist, but from time to time there are some shots that don't rise up to expectation!
i didn't notice it until you mentioned it. but to me that deformed quality in the skew of the floor adds a layer of line and pattern. coupled with the lines of the chair, the socks, the building, and the model this picture appears to me much more masterful than the death-stare from the model might insight. imho
I've noticed that the wide-angle lens is the main reason ... I hope I haven't annoyed you ... I love your work and I am amazed about any artist that works with non-pro models and takes them to another level through their work!
