I dont know what it is about this work, but I love and hate it at the same time. Its very posh and almost too decadent, I mean that in its negative form. Though the model is beautiful, I mostly see a show of money. Pride and Prejudice would be a title that comes mind.
But keep in mind, I love how the work makes me feel something for it, rather then one I can pass by and forget. This one is going in my favorites.
The photography itself is very great, so is the model, but it's a bit too plain for me. That's just my opinion of course. We've seen these kind of photos a lot, and I'll always prefer new and unique ones over what we're used to. Overall great job though!
The lovely model exudes a warm freshness that is all too rare -- even within the more upscale of broadly available venues where the human figure is on display. The neatness of the setting, the lighting, the fashionable attire, the charming pose with a just-right head tilt … all these attributes -- and more -- make for a photo that is another important and appreciated contribution to DA.
I always find myself admiring your work and getting inspired by it, and by the human quality that your models transmit through the picture. Their expressions and your amazing technique are something worth of cherish. I'm terribly sorry to hear that after all of these years, some people just dont get that exposing yourself (they way that your models do, or any kind for that matter) implies a huge load of confidence that they may or not have.
Anyhow.. I love your work and I sincerely hope those sorts of comments don't make you stop posting such incredible pictures here.
P.D.: my apologies for any grammatical mistakes. English is not my born language.
ty , love the photos, yes it has always been more then just the models, i see them as the flowers in the garden, beautiful by themselves but when combined over all with the set and emotion makes for a full experience in art!
