.. sometimes, someone asks me for a print I did not imagine anyone would want and I find myself searching through hundreds of files to find the original to post. It's a very tedious process and t's simpler when I have it at the outset to just add it to the page from the beginning.

This is Rebecca, I have made a book of her. She is very well known in a totally different domain than photography .. : -)

This is a fascinating composition! I enjoy everything about it. It's perfect the way there's that dark stripe between the wall and floor that forms an upside-down "L". That, and the dark rectangle on the left help to focus the eye on the model's face. And then we have those interesting shapes of negative space formed by her arms. I also enjoy the texture created by the window shutter in the background. And even the floor boards are running in the right direction (luckily).

Lately, in my own work, I've been exploring painting on square canvass. Have you considered this image in a format closer to square?
I see that you've added a tiny bit of floor to the bottom already (which helps), but I think you could remove some from the left.
And, in my personal opinion, I would not put that dark red wine glass on the window sill. But that's easy for me to say because I'm a painter.

I love this one. It's a masterpiece!

Many thanks for the very interesting comment. Admittedly, the floorboards were just a clumsy mistake, I have cropped the shot correctly now .. :-). That said,I do use the square format occasionally, though I had not really considered it for this shot. Many thanks for passing by. John.
