Cela pourrai faire une belle photo "moment" avec le voisin qui passe, tout étonné, la tête par la porte sans que le modèle ne réagisse ; )

simple yet elegant, I love the 'S' curve of her body, a little awkward on the legs, can't quite think on how they're positioned...

The position her legs are in just intrigues me for some reason.

You capture the beauty in women greatly.... Its very difficult to do that... and you do it nude. I really respect that. I also love how her body is contorted although it is, it looks so natural, very easy to look at.

Thank you my friend, admittedly I search for beauty but I only capture what I see ..

I've seen allot of photography where the capture is so aggressive, It's a skill to be able to capture what you see. The delay between the eyes and the lens is a challenge. Thank you for this, all this time i thought it was me, that i couldn't appreciate the full beauty of a woman without clothing, this puts me at ease, this is the first time for me being able to have this experience.

I like the contrast of the body to the dark doorway. I love the pose. I think the model is an excellent choice. The risk of "discovery" by the neighbors adds extra bonus points !!!

Great work!!!

I hope you'll take the shooting outside one day :D Are there any laws against walking nude in public in Paris ?

Such a beautiful photo. This conveys what artistic nude photography is all about to me-- showcasing the artistic side of the human body in a soulful way. This model is amazing and has such a great body, so this is definitely achieved. She's perfectly centered and surrounded in an everyday environment, which is risky but one shows how artistic they can be under pressure. Well done, man.

Thank you my friend. It is certainly unnatural to be standing naked on a public staircase, but the pose is one taken up on her own, so for her, contrary to what is stated furtherbelow, the pose is 'natural".

But then natural has so many social implications that it is almost impossible to know what is so. Even standing alone naked in front of a mirror we strike up a "pose".

Well, maybe it's unnatural in everyday life, which is possibly what the guy below me meant, but art is about immortalizing something more. While you unfortunately wouldn't see this just walking down the street, this could happen, and that is the fantasy of it. As for the pose, as you said, a pose in and of itself is unnatural. That shouldn't be the question on anyone's mind. The question is if a pose looks awkward, not unnatural. In my opinion, the more unique poses are the best ones. She definitely pulls it off flawlessly. Far from awkward. :ahoy:

Actually, that is an interesting point. What on earth is a natural pose, the term is contradictory.

Love the way her body is leaning. It compliments the stair banister quite well. I am a huge fan of black and white photography. Beautiful, natural model and stunning photograph. Everything looks crisp and clean. I especially love her facial expression in this shot as well.

Keep it up

Hmm.

I read your comment about it being about photography. But it simply eludes me; how can the model complement the photographer, or the photographer complement the model any more or any less. Paradoxial I suppose. The railing leading to what would be an exposed wrist, the (clock?) in the background giving the implication of emphasis that the model is the foreground, and the doorways opening "up to" the models figure; all emphasizes that the model is the focus.

If these are not however elements of photography, placed by skill, intuition, or a natural "good sensation" of what makes a good photograph and where to place the subject; I fail to see the lack of... interconnectivity of model and photographic skill which makes up this photo, and many of your photos.

However much I am a fan, perhaps you could elaborate?

This is a very articulate, perceptive and pertinent critique, thank you very much. As for you remark regarding the model, I would ask you to please read my front page. No one ever claimed that the model is not an integral part of the collective effort. However, when the ONLY contribution made under someone's work is nice ass or pretty girl (the former of these gets removed regularly), then I repeat what I have written below. Likewise if I post a photo of the Eiffel Tower, I do not expect the only topic of discussion to be the steel girdles or paintwork that went into the structure, I am a photographer not a civil engineer. I am certain that is understandable. Many thanks for the trouble taken to express your view.

Thank you. If I do it in a manner that is pleasing to some, which is always nice to read, it is because the photo is the outcome of a collective effort with the model. I don't really pose my models, I suggest the location and they largely do the rest. Possibly, the result is more natural than if I tried to impose my way. I think there is a lot of before, during and after involved in this kind of photography. Many thanks for your encouraging comment and please do not ever fail to point what you see is wrong.

If I'd be Your neighbour, I'd keep my door open at all times :-) Lest one of these mistakenly walk in.
Once, doing something similar, I sticked pieces of black scotch on three spy-glasses on the same floor!
Love this image: great division of frame with beautiful details and even more beautiful central "point of interest".

Thank you ... I have written this before on DA, but it's fun and worth repeating. The only time I had any problem was with one of the neighbours' dog that run up a floor while they were waiting for the lift and started licking my naked model all over as she was lying on the stairs .. he was wagging his tail with delight but my model almost had a heart attack .. !
